Until Now

So, here I am...my first blog post! Where to begin? Well, my name is Paula and I have been married to my husband, Eric, for 10 wonderful years. When I met him, he was working on the side with his dad doing a few flip houses and helping him out with his rentals. He grew a passion for it. In the meantime, I had been teaching for YEARS, but I always had a love for interior design. After being married a few years or so, we began investing in real estate ... renovating houses to have as rentals and some to sell as well. It just took off! With that said, two years ago my husband left his job of 21 years to chase his dream of real estate investing full time. It has been as adventure and a blessing. How great to do what you love for a living! I am thrilled he gets to do this and that I get to be his partner in life. It is just so satisfying to see the change in a house as you take it from an outdated or even run-down state to a beautiful house that will become a home to someone. It just makes me happy!

I know DIY is popular now and so many seem to be interested in it as I am. I find myself searching the web, Instagram, etc for hours on end, browsing home project ideas and how-to's. So, I thought why not share a bit of what we do. I am not trying to be an influencer or anything, just sharing a little bit of our journey.
